General comments
Following a recent (Dec 2010) platform upgrade, Playtech's Euro live dealer roulette is a pretty compelling online roulette option. The
old platform was outstanding. This one is even better.
The upgrade included a complete studio overhaul - the new premises look great (as do the dealers). It also included improvements to the quality of the video stream thanks to a new HD quality broadcast and added game view/play options that can be customized by the player.
Rules are unchanged - standard European Roulette (single zero) odds and payouts
apply (see house rules
for details).
French roulette table is now available 24/7 as well. Despite a different looking table, the French roulette wheel is identical to that used in European Roulette, and odds and payouts are for the most part the same.
One crucial difference with French Roulette is the La Partage Rule, which dictates that you lose only half of your even-money bets when the spinning result is zero.
