Blackjack Unlimited Rules
Unlimited Blackjack has 3 areas for players to wager, each area is dealt a hand
of cards and there is one position for the dealer's hand. Each player can play
between 1 and 3 hands, and there can be an unlimited number of players at the
table playing the same hands.
If two players betting on the same spot have the option of Hit or Stand, and one
player chooses to stand while the other chooses to hit, then the croupier will
deal the card for the hit, but it will not count for the player(s) choosing to
stand.
Player will have 10 seconds to take a decision, if the player gets disconnected,
basic strategy via auto play is applied .
Additionally, please note that when the auto play takes over, the system will
double or split hands based on basic strategy, so a wager of 1 unit can turn
into a wager of up to 4 units if there is splitting and doubling down that would
be required by auto play basic strategy. If the player does not have enough
funds to double or split, the second option in the basic strategy chart will be
applied. i.e. double or hit, will apply a hit if the account does not have
enough funds.
Win by getting a higher card count than the croupier without exceeding a count
of 21. Beginning on the croupier's left, a card is dealt face up to each player
in turn with the croupier being last in rotation. A second card is then dealt in
the same manner; the croupier does not get a second card yet. Then each player
gets a turn to improve their counts following the same order. During your turn,
you may hit (drawing one or more cards to improve your count) or stand (your
turn is over). A bust, count exceeds 21, is an immediate loss; otherwise, your
bet remains unresolved. An initial count of 21 (two cards) is called a blackjack
and wins immediately unless the croupier has a possibility of a blackjack (the
croupier's card is either a face card, a Ten or an Ace).
After all players have had a turn, the croupier takes a second card, then stands
or draws as appropriate, according to the house strategy. If the croupier busts,
all unresolved bets are winners. If she stands, each player's count is then
compared to the croupier's. If your count is closer to 21 than the croupier's,
you win. If the croupier's is closer, you lose. If you and the croupier tie, the
bet is a push and your bet is returned. Once all bets have been resolved, the
croupier announces the beginning of the next betting period.
Cards 2 to 10 are count at face value. Face cards (Jacks, Queens, and Kings) are
worth 10; Aces are worth 1 or 11. After a player has stood, a hand containing
one or more Aces is considered to be at its highest possible value without
exceeding 21.
After the first two cards are dealt, each player may alter their wager as
follows:
Splitting Pairs
When basic strategy indicates splitting pairs (two cards of equal rank), each
player has the option to Split or Surrender 20%. If the player splits the hand,
the first subhand is dealt a second card, and then the player is permitted to
stand or hit one or more cards to improve the count. Once the player stands on
the first subhand, the second subhand is dealt a second card, and then the
player is permitted to stand or hit on that hand. Subhands may not be re-split.
With the Surrender 20% option the player surrenders the hand and receives the
original bet amount back less a 20% house commission.
When splitting a pair of Aces, each subhand receives exactly one additional card
with no option to hit. A count of 21 arising from the splitting aces is not
considered a Blackjack, and loses to a dealer's Blackjack.
IMPORTANT NOTE on SPLITTING PAIRS: When basic strategy does not indicate a pair
to be split, the player will not have that option. See our basic strategy table
for more information.
Doubling Down
After the first two cards are dealt, you may double your initial bet, on the
condition that you will be dealt only one more card. You may double down after
splitting a pair, except in the case of splitting Aces.
If a player doubles down or split pairs against an eventual dealer blackjack,
the additional bet will be refunded back to the player's account, resulting in
just the initial wager being lost.
Insurance and Even Money
If the dealer's up card is an Ace, you may obtain insurance unless you are dealt
a Blackjack, in which case even money is offered instead. This side-bet costs
half the amount of your original bet. If the dealer draws a Blackjack, this bet
pays 2:1 and the original bet is a push; otherwise, you lose this bet but your
original bet pays 3:2.
Surrender
Surrender offers the player the choice to fold their hand at half of the
original bet. This option appears once for all hands in the first set of
options, except when the dealer's up card is an ace.
House Strategy
The house must:
Hit on 16 or less.
Stand on 17 or more.
Payouts
Blackjack, a two-card 21 not arising on a split, pays 3:2; however, if the
croupier also have a Blackjack, the bet is a push. Blackjack beats any
three-or-more-card 21.
All other winning bets pay 1:1.
A tie or push returns your bet (nobody wins).
A bust is a loss.
Surrender pays half of the initial bet back.
No split option pays 80% of the initial bet back. .
